the word civil is a fairly underrated term for something that distinguishes us from other animals. it stands for more than do words like polite and courteous. it is being able to unapologetically have a sense of identity; it is respect for others- respect for the human race in general; it is also the feeling of gratitude towards our mothers and fathers for having found the courage to raise us in this tumultuous world. being civil could mean a lot of things to a lot of different people, but human existence has been often found leaning on these two simple words, both in need and in joy. this clothing label is an attempt at representing the millennials, who believe that if trends are as transient as seasons, how can one truly be at peace with their wardrobes. if there is anything you take away from this long introduction, let it be the advice to be yourself, to be accomodative- to be civil.
