i am a certified facilitator and qualified trainer, specializing in the technology of participation methods (top). developed by the institute of cultural affairs over fifty years ago, top methods are well known for bringing groups to consensus around difficult issues, enabling productive conversations and creating plans that are positioned to succeed through the power of participation. i use these methods to facilitate strategic planning sessions, board retreats, action planning, community organizing, committee meetings and any other gathering where group participation is valued. i also use a national training model to teach others to facilitate using these highly effective methods.
