welcome to bectec home inspections my name is scott beck. unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won't meet me until our appointment. furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and pricing. ultimately, a thorough home inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. if you honor me by permitting me to inspect your home, i guarantee that i'll give you my very best effort. i am a certified professional inspector, an engineering design and drafting technologist and a red seal journeyman carpenter. i have over 22 years experience in these fields which includes countless field inspections, home renovations, various project and construction management roles, design and build proposals and the physical design and build of two of my own homes. i was raised in kitimat, bc and have lived and worked in northern bc most of my life, so i am familiar with many of the issues that are common in northern regions
