tijdverblijf is a rectory and a national monument in zuidhorn, which has been partly converted into a bed & breakfast. bed & breakfast tijdverblijf started in 2003. we offer a spacious guest room, a kitchenette and a modern shower room. our garden room is unique and authentic. daylight illuminates the room from morning to night; the light enters through 6 large windows, spread over 3 walls. from the room you have a view of the old village on the east side, on the north side you can see the reformed church and on the west side, you have a view of the garden. with us, you will find peace, space, and a lot of atmosphere from a bygone era. we are a family of five. we work in the nearby city of groningen and we enjoy receiving guests in our bed & breakfast. we enjoy the house and garden and love the groningen landscape, which is good for walking and cycling. the area is very suitable for beautiful cycling trips. zuidhorn forms the transition from the sandy soils of drenthe to the gronin
