there are a few critical things that we need to do better if we are to change the world for those experiencing entrenched disadvantage. bedrock believes that if we can impact governance, strategy, access to capital and policy in a systemic, coordinated way then we give people the best chance to improve their circumstances and make the most of their lives. ___________ we believe that our system of social support, at best, holds people back from living the life they dream for themselves and, at worst, entrenches disadvantage by allowing it to pass through generations. we believe that individuals themselves, along with their loved-ones, are best to decide what makes them happy and fulfilled. we believe that it is only when individuals are empowered to drive their own support program that they will truly be able to live life to its fullest.
