bedtivity is a resting surface monitoring system, used in healthcare, for identification of sleep disorders and non-intrusive monitoring for the elderly; and used as well for recreational bed activity monitoring. healthcare: monitoring sleep disorders could be complicated and time consuming for hospitals and patients, thus there is not too many beds in the hospital equipped to this pourpose. bedtivity is capable of monitoring the sleep disorders in your own environment recollecting a wide range of parameters to be studied by the doctors. senior monitoring: day to day life is making more and more difficult to attend senior people as they deserve, to monitor them and be aware of their situation, there is no need of invade their intimacy, bedtivity can let us know if our beloved elderly has gone to bed at a certain time or if he/she hasn’t waken up as usual. recreational/social: we tend to share more and more, why not making our bed activity a social matter? bedtivity could monitor the ac
