in 2015, the group was started as a place where old coworkers could hang out with each other. as a notoriously bad planner, we decided to meet the first tuesday of the month, every month to catch up. eventually we put this meetup.com and the group has now grown to over 9,500 members. the group has been responsible for over 20 job placements, countless new friendships and 1 marriage (yay olga & randy). come by and attend an event where we can help match make you with other people of similar interest to geek out. our informal setting is all about grabbing a couple beers, talk about the cool stuff we are working on, maybe get a guest speaker (if we are feeling ambitious) ... but really just have a couple beers.
