Beginning Well

amber is a registered dietitian licensed as a medical nutrition therapist and is a board certified specialist in pediatric nutrition. with more than ten years of experience in the field, amber holds a bachelor of science in nutrition science from the university of nebraska-lincoln and a master’s degree in community nutrition from the university of nebraska-lincoln. in 2011 amber served as the president of the lincoln district dietetic association and this year was recognized as the 2012 outstanding young dietitian from the nebraska academy of nutrition & dietetics (nand). amber assisted with writing social media guidelines for nand members which received national attention by the academy of nutrition & dietetics and has also been recognized by “today’s dietitian” magazine as a leader in social media among registered dietitians. as an adjunct professor, amber teaches nutrition courses at southeast community college and is also the voice behind beginning well, a blog dedicated to health
