behindtheline has been producing original film, television, and digital content since 2011. they are the sister company of jumpline, which has been specializing in live production and content creation for consumer brands since 2002. most recently, behindthe line produced 'live from new york!' a documentary feature that looks at the iconic television series 'saturday night live' as a living time capsule, encompassing decades of american politics, media, tragedy, and popular culture with an irreverent edge. 'live from new york!' had its world premiere on april 15, 2015 as the opening night selection at the tribeca film festival. 'lfny!' later aired as a part of 'snl premiere saturday' on nbc. the film continues to screen at various film festivals across the globe. additionally, we executive produce the annual documentary short "behind the seams: an insider's look at costume design", and are in development on additional projects.
