Beic Project Ethiopia

the “business environment and investment climate, including e-government”, beic project, focuses on contributing to ethiopia’s national flagship initiative: “ethiopian ease of doing business, eodb, medium-term reform roadmap”. beic aims to support the reforms envisaged by the government of ethiopia (goe) within this eodb framework. the overall objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the business environment in ethiopia, to foster private sector development and the generation of employment and income opportunities in the context of the eodb programme of the government. the beic project’s expected results (outcomes) are: 1. strengthen the capacity of public sector entities in ethiopia to implement reforms in improving the country’s business environment 2. established/modernised e-government systems and built capacities for the operation/management of those e-government systems 3. supported public-private dialogue in ethiopia and existing and potential investors
