being the change (btc) is a youth equestrian program with full scholarships available for low income or at-risk youth. btc provides unique opportunities for youth to learn how to care for horses and equestrian sports facilities with the goal of obtaining fully employable skills - in exchange for all their hard work and care, btc trains our youth to compete in various equestrian disciplines (polo, hunter/jumper, western/rodeo, etc). btc hosts a polo school for ages 5-19 and a nationally ranked interscholastic polo team and is a member of the juan thomas hounds. btc is a messanger with the equus foundation and a platinum star member of guidestar.
