Beit Kobi Organization

beit kobi was established in honor and memory of sargeant kobi ichlebom (hy"d), who was killed on march 10, 2002 during combat operation in gaza. kobi was an outstanding warrior and comandor in the givati brigade. familialism, friendship, love of the country and the the idf code of ethics were a guidning principle for kobi, which acording to them he educated his soldiers. few months after his death, aviva ichlebom, kobi's mother, and her family, established beit kobi organization . following his say: "it's not a big deal to becom a good soldier from a home like mine. the wisdome is to take someone that it's difficult for him and to lift him up", the lone soldiers project and kobi's heritage and value center were founded. beit kobi is the only non-profit organization in israel that is authorized by the idf to help lone soldiers and to provide values-based workshops to its commanders.
