bekke films is a production company based in brussels. we love provocative cinema and support authors with a purpose. we focus on eye-opening projects. the first short "siemiany" has been screened at numerous festivals, e.g berlinale, clermont-ferrand, seattle iff and won more than 15 international awards. the two following projects had successful runs, including "the letter" by kenneth mercken, and the second short film by philip james mcgoldrick, ‘subaru' was completed with support from the flemish audiovisual fund. in 2013 "the way of all flesh" by deben van dam, won all the awards at the isff leuven and was shown on many international film festivals, won other awards and was long listed of the oscars. in 2014, de smet was co-produced with the netherlands and won the canal+ award at clermont-ferrand and is being shown at numerous festivals. now in pre-production of new short films and starting up co-productions with several european and international projects. recently "in de naam v
