Belatxiki

belatxiki is a company specialized in the production of bespoke vegetables and the recovery of autochthonous vegetable species aimed at haute cuisine restaurants in the basque country, spain. the company was founded in 2015 and one year later became finalist at the culinary action startup prizes organized by the basque culinary center. in 2017 won a competition organized by orizont (best spanish accelerator in 2017). shortly after that, belatxiki joined together with fronda (largest garden center chain in spain)to found babygreen, a company that put together the philosophy and know-how of the small startup with the production capacity of the gardening giant. as a result of that joint-venture, babygreen now provides the finest vegetables to the best restaurants throughout spain and portugal.
