belen/mepx - montenegrin power exchange was established as a project company with the task of establishing a company that will with the implemented legislative acts harmonized with european and regional regulations in the domestic organized energy market provide a new, functional, competitive and transparent opportunity for energy trading. this was done in line with the government's conclusion, as part of wb6's regional market integration initiative. by doing so, montenegro aims to develop an organized day-ahead market and in the next phase approach the market-coupling process with at least one of the neighboring countries in the region.
