belgrade international games is a student organization founded in 2005 with the idea of gathering students from the entire world once a year and giving them the opportunity to compete in different scientific and sports activities. big is a tournament between universities which takes place every october in belgrade, serbia, since 2006. footsal, handball, basketball, rugby, water-polo, volleyball, squash and cheer-leading competition and two knowledge-based competitions debate and case study are organized. big has consolidated during the years as a reference for university sport in serbia, counting with an average participation of 800 students from europe, asia and africa. with help of 120 volunteers big in a unique way promotes serbia, its culture, academic life, students and universities, as well as a recreational sport and healthy living.
