darryl bellamy has collected and cataloged thousands of student’s secret fears from around the country. when he first started reading fears, he was taken back by the vulnerability, self-awareness, and rawness of the students’ written responses. he realized how big the fear of failure and rejection was in their lives and what it was preventing them from accomplishing on campus and in their lives. last year darryl released the highly rated book “waking up chase, one student’s journey to awakening his potential” which used as a common read on various campuses. while in undergrad, darryl was a well-rounded student leader who overcame his fears to receive multiple awards, participate in two corporate internships and run for student body office. he now uses those experiences to help students thrive and live fearlessly.
