Belsize Park RFC

belsize park is a strictly amateur club based in central london, run by volunteers and funded by member subscriptions and some sponsors. our ethos and ambition is to be the best amateur rugby club in the country, both on and off the field and to “always win the party”. last season was the most successful season in our club’s history. we have done all of this without having our own clubhouse or pitch. as our minis/junior club is relatively new, all our adult players came to the club as strangers. we pride ourselves on having an unrivalled welcome and accepting atmosphere –most recently extended to our newly formed women’s section! we are steadfastly committed to never paying players. last season we put out over 350 adult players (this year we will exceed 380) with limited resources and a large crew of volunteers. we recruit hundreds to the club every season, including lots of beginners and returners to the game, many of whom are new to london. in an era of declining player numbers,
