~ how it all started ~ from an early age ben realised that he had a passion woodworking after watching his dad build most of the furniture at home. his talent for creating wooden furniture started at school & college where he studied art, design technology & business studies. seeking a career that would satisfy his creative nature he decided to turn his furniture making hobby into a business, ben simpson furniture. after a few years growing ben simpson furniture from his parents shed to garage ben decided to team up with luke kiernan a long time friend to create a partnership together & build a business. luke started out much the same as ben showing a love for creative design from a young age. luke studied product design & business studies at godalming college, this allowed him to develop his knowledge of design & product placement in the market. after teaming up with luke we started designing a new range of rustic industrial shelving and furniture.the brief was to infuse rustic ti
