benchmark software was established by individuals that were searching for better alarm notification for scada and hmis. this search brought us to topview, an alarm management and notification software that included all the features that our current customers desired, but unavailable in the software they currently use. although topview supports opc, some of the major scada systems don’t expose alarm details through opc. benchmark developed a method for easily linking the alarm details for these systems through opc and now sells a complete package for alarm notification and management, as well as conversion services to convert a user's existing alarm notification software to topview format. this search also expanded to find a reporting package that uses microsoft excel to create reports from hmi historical data without using complex arrays and could create data reports quickly and easily. that search ended with xlreporter, an excel-based reporting software that doesn't use arrays or cust
