everyone loves to hear, read and share stories. and for most of us, stories begin and end with books. it doesn’t matter if it’s enid blyton or salman rushdie. what matters is, how the story is told. as mesmerising as they are, they have been the reason for countless broken hearts and inspired ideas. they have made us stronger and helped us become just a little more human. stories, however, do not end with books. the essence of any story doesn’t just lie in how it is told but also in the why. 'beneath the ink' was formed to tell and talk about stories. the story of short and long, novels and anthologies and everything in between. because we don’t just read a book; we become the characters, fill in the gaps in their stories, fight their wars and fall in love with them. we live with the book, we romance it, and as the book ends, so does a part of us. inked or not, every word does have a story. so, come join us on this journey of finding the rhyme and reason behind the writ word.
