Benelux Society of Phlebology

this association of doctors from belgium, the netherlands and luxembourg, interested in venous and lymphatic pathology, was founded on 16 november 1957 in eindhoven and is thus one of the oldest phlebology associations in the world. the aim of the association is to promote the scientific knowledge of venous and lymphatic pathology and to optimize the links between all the practitioners involved, being physicians or paramedics. to this end, it aims to initiate activities, of whatever nature, that can further the knowledge and training in this medical subspecialty. this is done through scientific meetings and support of phlebological/lymphological research and publications. cooperation with other scientific associations is also pursued.
