benton brook metals is a high-end metals fabrication studio serving architects, contractors, businesses, museums, and homeowners with unique artisan-made metalwork. we can work to exacting specifications or design and implement your vision from start to finish. bbm works in many metals, and has significant experience fabricating steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, and copper. we also work with mixed media materials such as reclaimed and highly figured woods. additional capabilities include sculpting and wax work, historical restoration, machining, and bronze foundry casting in house. bbm operates from a restored 1820s barn in the berkshires that first served as the porter & carter turning and clock studio. owner daniel porter stevens is a classically trained artist with experience as a metalsmith and a jeweler, as well as a wood turner, prop designer, and cabinetmaker. art and design shaped his work from his early years working in his father’s cabinet shop in the catskill
