the bepko learning center provides opportunities for undergraduate students to achieve educational excellence while developing their personal, social, academic, and institutional adaptation to college life through the guidance of more experienced student peers. the primary objectives of the bepko learning center related to students are: to facilitate students’ adaptation to college life – personally, socially, academically, and institutionally to consult with and refer students to professional university staff, resources, and campus offices as needed to stimulate student interest in developing learning skills and attitudes conducive to academic progress and success to develop workable interpersonal communication skills for the mentors and students to facilitate the personal growth and development of mentors and students to create an intellectually stimulating environment for students, by students to build a community of learners among iupui students
