laura offers a coaching and consulting practice focusing on physicians and healthcare workers. she is particularly interested in helping women recognize and develop their potential and social impact as leaders and role models. she speaks and offers workshop training on physician well-being, developing leadership style, communication, and approaches to changing the culture of medicine. in 2021 she spoke at the executive physician leadership program for the american society of anesthesiologists and in 2022 at the asa advance leadership program. recent research and publications involve her work with the women’s empowerment and leadership initiative (part of the society for pediatric anesthesia) and physician well-being during covid. her personal writing and blog explore leadership and culture in medicine, being a woman in medicine and physician well-being. follow her on twitter @lberenstain.
