i was born and raised in keizer, or which is a town just outside of salem. when i lived there, it still had the feel of a small town where everyone knew each other. after graduating from seattle pacific university, getting my masters in education from antioch university, and marrying the love of my life, i wanted to find that that same small town feel in which to raise my family. since my husband is confined to a power wheelchair and can't drive a car, though, it was also important that we live close to many amenities and easy access to the bus lines. we finally found what we were looking for in auburn, wa, specifically the valley portion of auburn. the city of auburn is large enough to suit the needs of just about any home-buyer, from the single person looking for a place near the quaint old downtown area to the large family wanting to get some acreage to some horses and maybe have a small farm. for us, the ideal location was less than a mile from downtown auburn where my husband c
