sure, your cousin's neighbor's brother "may" be capable of installing or servicing your furnace or a/c system. sure, you may save a few dollars by going this route. but do they have over 20 years experience? will they back up their work with a warranty? are they a+ rated with the bbb? are they an angie's list super service award winner? are they properly insured to work in your home or business? do they give back to the community? sure, the big box guys have a catchy jingle. sure, they spend your hard earned money on fancy advertising. sure, you may spend a few more dollars by going this route. but will the sales person and owner be present during the installation? the parts in your equipment are covered by a factory warranty. provided your equipment is properly maintained, there should be no out of pocket repairs for you. so why do you suppose they push you to purchase a costly service agreement? berkeley heating and cooling is big enough to handle any job, yet small enough to offer y
