“every child in a family, every family in a community” as one of the oldest social service agencies in berkshire county and the pioneer valley, berkshire children and families is committed to the well-being of children and families in the communities in which they live. our long-term presence in many western massachusetts communities helps us respond to current needs of families and communities respond to challenges when they arise, and focus on prevention strategies – breaking the cycles that keep children and families from fulfilling their potential to be strong, contributing citizens. we promote partnership and collaboration at all levels with communities, agencies, schools, funders and families themselves to develop services that are responsive to families’ needs.
