the berkshire school of english aims to teach, support and inspire non-native speakers in their english language learning so that they may confidently live and work in the uk. our english courses are designed for individuals, their families, schools, and for businesses throughout berkshire, and worldwide via our online live lessons. the school is located in cheap street, newbury, just a 2-minute walk from the bus and train stations. after many years experience working with non-native speakers, our students highlighted the need for specialist english language teaching for specific jobs and help to understand the social and cultural diversity that they are presented with when working in the uk today. students also stressed the need to understand everyday english language within the context of citizenship, education and the nhs and to have the opportunities to explore british culture through history, politics, food and entertainment. we listened carefully to our students and our team of p
