berkshire tai chi (uk) is a long-established tai chi school with various centres around the royal county, including woodley, purley, earley, and across the border into hampshire with a centre in yateley. in addition to offering regular weekly classes in both yang & chen styles, berkshire tai chi designs and delivers special needs programmes, in-company training, tai chi-based retreats and monthly seminars. private lessons are available by appointment. membership of professional bodies includes that of the tai chi union for great britain, the british council for chinese martial arts, and the chinese internal arts association. tai chi lineage is as follows: yang style: grandmaster yang shouchung>master chu kinghung>karel koskuba chen style: direct transmissions from grandmaster chen xiaowang and master chen yingjun.
