Berlin Debating Union (Bdu)

hello! we are the bdu, the berlin debating union. since we were founded in 2001, we have grown to become one of the largest and most active debating societies in germany. becoming a member of the bdu grants you the opportunity to make new friends, debate interesting topics that you care about, and participate in national and international tournaments. our goal is to make debating fun and accessible for everyone. we want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to communicate their ideas and participate in university life. we organize weekly debates, teach members how to construct and communicate persuasive arguments, and host debating tournaments at the national and international level. furthermore, we organize social events for our members to have fun and make new friends. we have won, for example, the world universities debating championship (esl) in 2014, the largest debating tournament in the world. furthermore, we have won the german language debating championshi
