berlin film central is a movie reviews site and news about cinema in berlin. the movies we review are mostly latin american, german and off hollywood films that are in one way or another available in berlin in its original version or with subtitles, be it in a festival, in commercial theaters, at dvd/blueray rentals or reteail shops. why these kind of films? movie reviews sites are abundant in the net, and they mostly review current blockbusters or hollywood movies. we want to create a niche audience for films that normally dont’t get as much attention. we want to focus on the movies available in berlin, which is becoming a major hub of international film production and we want to do it in english to reach as much people as we can, specially the international community of filmmakers and moviegoers who live, work or visit berlin. we also want to keep this international community updated and informed about everything that has to do with film in berlin, making information and news that ot
