Berlin Global Village

berlin global village was founded in february 2011 and emerged from an initiative of the berlin development policy council (ber). through its 39 member organizations, the berlin global village association is a network of individual small clubs, larger non-governmental organizations and umbrella organizations. these in turn are networked with a variety of other initiatives in the city as they address a variety of issues relevant to global development: climate and resource equity, sustainable food systems, working conditions in global value chains, global finance and trade policies, decolonial remembrance culture and anti-racism, global learning and digital media, local development cooperation and much more ------------ berlin global village hat sich im februar 2011 gegründet und ist aus einer initiative des berliner entwicklungspolitischen ratschlags (ber) hervorgegangen. durch die 39 mitgliedsorganisationen ist der verein berlin global village ein netzwerk von einzelnen kleinen vereine
