Bert Illustrates

i'm bert fowler. contemporary british artist and illustrator. my signature style uses graphic lines, cubist like shapes and bursts of colour to create charming characters, original scenes and enchanting repeat patterns. my commercial illustration work includes projects for jodrell bank discovery centre, kellogg’s, national trust, port of dartmouth royal regatta, quorn, royal albert memorial museum and unesco city of literature. i’m currently collaborating with urban regenerators - that group - on large scale art installations and murals and a bespoke homeware range for the new hampton by hilton hotel on the devon coast (opening spring 2021). i am also the founder of bert & buoy - an art, apparel, homeware and stationery brand - inspired by my life on the british coast. i love collaborating with other makers, from keith brymer jones on ceramics to quirk uk on lighting. a new luxury watch collaboration will launch in 2021. come experience my retail store in dartmouth and online at ht
