who we are… bet is a small startup company formed by the manship family as a family business. with a combined total of over 40 years’ experience in business and languages, we put this company together to combine these skills into one focal point – business english training. my name is john manship, and am the founder of this endeavor. born and raised in the north-eastern united states, i am a native north american who has worked for almost 20 years as an executive for a large global corporation here in sao paulo. i bring the business part to this venture. my wife claudete is a seasoned language teacher with 20 years’ experience giving english and spanish classes in sao paulo to large corporations. she’s the driving force behind the scenes. our son robert is also a seasoned english teacher, and is currently a ba student. robert is helping us pull this all together and is a great contribution to the team. together we are bet – business english training. what we do… our goal is not to tea
