we are a group of attorneys in the washington, d.c. area who have come together in the capital of our nation to bring legal access to everyone, regardless of national origin, race, or religion. the jewish community has a long history of the pursuit of justice. in hebrew we say, “tzedek, tzedek, tirdof - justice, justice you shall pursue.” the literal translation of tzedek is righteousness. we have chosen the symbol promise to convey the message that justice is for the masses, not just a few. we believe in peace through prosperity and support our neighbors no matter what nation they come from. in america we are a melting pot. we merge our ideals, hopes and dreams together for peace. the america is rich with the traditions of the scandinavian, european, australian, canadian, pacific rim the middle eastern, asian, south american and african people, as well as the indigenous people from around the globe. we are one human family. we defend the right to justice, peace and happiness. sometime
