beta financial markets is a capital markets group that aims to empower university students through providing them the opportunity to build their own trading strategies, which they can use to make profits in the stock market. through having structured training seminars and a relevant internship, students will be able to apply the skills they learned at beta financial to any sector within the capital markets. mission statement: to provide students with the opportunity to apply knowledge learned in the classroom in a professional setting- both through the internship program and by making feasible trading strategies. beta financial was founded on july 1, 2015 and became incorporated under the british columbia society act on august 13, 2015.
