Beta Slovakia

beta slovakia is a politically independent, non-profit organisation. as one of its 10 branches, we share the goals and values of the bringing europeans together association europe (beta e.v.), based in mainz, germany. we aim to promote the european identity and consciousness, and to strengthen european civil society by developing critical thinking in young people through intercultural dialogue and informal education. we strive to establish a strong tradition of organising sustainable, professional and educational events about eu politics to achieve our goals. we are kickstarting this initiative with model european union bratislava 2018, an international simulation of the european union's legislative process. the conference will allow young people from all over the continent to step into the shoes of the european union's decision-makers, thus understanding how the organisation works by using the ‘learning-by-doing’ approach.
