better education, better world was founded in 2011 by high school students who were passionate about the importance of quality education for rural communities in developing countries. with this in mind, we started our fist project: helping a school in the rural community of zona agrícola de francisco may in quintana roo, mexico. since then, we have built a soccer field, installed turf around the common areas of the school, donated school supplies, among other things. some of our fundraising events have been two soccer tournaments, two mexican themed campus events, a talent show, and a quidditch tournament.
