better left said is based in halifax, nova scotia, specializing in hand lettering, illustration and making people feel all the feelings. words are pretty cool, especially if you put them together in just the right way. sam shannon was knee-high to a particularly short grasshopper when she first realized this. she’s been hooked ever since. sam started her career in advertising, but never stopped filling the margins of her notebooks with doodles and illustrations. after a few years, she decided it was time to break out and turn a part-time hobby into a full-time business. each project sam works on is the product of her obsession with words and particular knack for making things look pretty. not to mention her belief that just about every thought, feeling and opinion is better left said.
