hi! my name is becky, and i’m the owner, baker, and artist behind better on a stick. our story began back in 2009, when a good friend of mine sent me a link to bakerella (credited with being the original creator of the cake pop), with a note saying, “this looks like something you would do!” having a formal education in art, and a love of all sweet treats, i was immediately intrigued. a couple weeks later, i had an opportunity to make them for a holiday party and, as i’m sure you can guess, they were a huge hit… and i was officially hooked on the accolades i received! i started making them for my own friends and family, but soon i had folks asking how much i would charge to make cake pops for their events. as the years have passed, i’ve made pops for so many people and so many events, and each time i feel honored that families have trusted me to be a part of their milestones, their memories, their moments of celebration. with the support of my husband, i decided to formalize t
