better outcomes limited was established in 2007 as a service-driven consultancy with a broad range of experience in risk management, safety, quality and governance. patrick keady has over 24 years experience in the practice of risk management, working in eighty nhs organisations, three professional bodies and one housing body. he was chair of the board of trustees at iosh, an executive director of strategy and governance and the quality program lead for 35,000 staff working in the nhs in england. patrick has worked on wide variety of projects from increasing capacity for gps; several independent reviews; mediating between regulators and nhs trusts; project managing one of the first nhs trusts accredited to the nhs litigation authority level 2 risk management standards; and introducing health and safety management after the removal of crown immunity in 1991.
