better water alaska is a water treatment company that provides residential and commercial water treatment and filtration to the matsu valley, anchorage, and kenia peninsula. the company was founded after residents of the state reached out to pure water northwest which is located in washington state. this came shortly after articles were written about how pure water northwest has knocked out the worst water quality issues in washington state. when the calls started coming in from alaska the owner of pure water northwest flew to alaska to see what kind of issues were present and the extent. due to the high level of arsenic and other serious contaminants in the state chris pelton decided to extend pure water northwest to alaska under the name better water alaska.
