located in the heart of new orleans' french quarter, bevolo gas and electric lights has manufactured traditional and antique lighting since 1945. bevolo's highly skilled coppersmiths custom build each fixture by hand, from raw materials, to exact specifications creating a product aesthetically compatible with many architectural designs. the original french quarter light, our most popular model, was redesigned from early seventeenth century european architecture by the renowned architect, a. hays town; andrew bevolo, sr. was commissioned to build this timeless light. since then this light fixture has become a trademark of new orleans and adorns many of the finest restaurants, hotels, and landmarks in the city.
