Bexarfest

bexarfest is the only multimedia festival in america pairing high school production teams with nonprofit organizations to tell the stories that impact us all. we give high school students a real-world work experience and an inside look at the day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization. student production teams create videos, photos, graphics and original music for use by their nonprofit partner in their outreach efforts. students get to explore media production careers and nonprofit organizations get free social media assets and an introduction to the next generation of donors, volunteers and staff members. to date, bexarfest has paired 60 high school teams from seven south texas counties with 80 nonprofit organizations to create more than four hours of video, photos, graphics and music. we recruit teams in the fall, pair them during the winter and premiere their work in the spring in the only media festival of its kind.
