for over 20 years, locally-owned beyond barriers has served minnesota, wisconsin and iowa with accessible home remodeling. in december 2017, beyond barriers was acquired by lifeway mobility, a ct-based accessibility solutions company that provides a wide variety of ramps, stair lifts, wheelchair lifts, transfer aids, and bath safety solutions to individuals and businesses in connecticut, massachusetts, minnesota, rhode island and wisconsin. our dedicated staff includes certified environmental access consultants (ceac) and certified aging-in-place specialists (caps), a designation developed by the national association of home builders research center in collaboration with the nahb 50+ housing council and the american association of retired persons (aarp). our installers and technicians are trained and certified by the leading manufacturers of accessibility equipment such as bruno.
