beyond bars akademia is a bartending school with a social conscience. through our individualized courses, we help individuals and former inmates pursue a career in bartending. through our business and outreach work, we aim to fulfill the following objectives : • secure a future through prison education • educate responsible brand ambassadors • reduce recidivism rate of ex-offenders from 47% to 10% in three years • fight unemployment peak among young people • reduce the gender gap in the hospitality trade • provide a sustainable solution to individuals often left behind beyond bars aims to fight the stigma surrounding ex-offenders, while providing top quality training from leading global teachers.
