beyond today started as a program to help employees through a redundancy, but it ended up giving me purpose too. the clients which i have enjoyed working with the most, have gone through some big life-changing event: redundancy, death of a spouse, divorce, cancer or retirement-when-you’re-scared-you-don’t-have-enough. time and time again, i’ve held their hand while they told me their stories. i’ve laughed with them and even cried with them. when they were ready to focus on tomorrow, we sat down to set some goals and then i designed a plan to get them there. and we’ve learnt this lesson together: this too shall pass. licensed through macaplan, who holds their own financial services license, we are not linked to a product provider or bank.
