building for humanity is not an ordinary not-for-profit housing company, rather one with a purpose of improving affordable home ownership and rental properties with our profits used to self-fund our own homeless charity – homes for humanity. it is modelled to develop the best, simple, most sustainable and low energy performance homes. on the one hand, building for humanity aims to ensure housing is accessible to those who can only dream of owning or renting an affordable home – ‘with us we make it a reality’. over and above that, we want to transform poor housing by delivering on our promise to ensure our properties are designed with cutting-edge energy efficient and environmentally measures. building for humanity invests in green building, so to lower our long-term burden on our natural environment while providing for those who need help today. for that reason, building for humanity is sustainable for the future. we work closely with local councils to earmark potential development
