bhavishya, the social initiatives committee of iim lucknow is run by a group of motivated students determined to make a difference. we strongly believe that actions at the grass root level can bring about a powerful change. therefore our aim is two fold: i) to raise awareness about social issues among the students; sensitize and energize them to take action. ii) to actively engage in projects that directly benefit the society at large. through our activities in education, health, women empowerment and other social sectors, we leverage the technical and managerial competency of students & faculty to help the underprivileged. bhavishya has reached out to more than 6000 beneficiaries through its activities. our flagship initiatives such as disha, paarijat, evening school, harmony cup, medical camps & community visits have gained immense popularity over the years with extensive participation.
